Assessments offered include:
- Specialist Autism Spectrum Disorder Diagnostic Assessment
- Speech and Language Assessments
- Psychological Assessments
- Cognitive Assessments
Assessments are tailored to the needs of the referrer/client and may take place over a number of sessions if required. These sessions will include a detailed case history and direct assessment. If appropriate, observations of the individual, and liaison with other professionals such as Teachers, Paediatricians, Psychiatrists, Parents and Carers will also be carried out, in order to obtain a holistic and detailed picture of the individual’s strengths and needs before concluding the assessment. The assessment may take place in the individual's home, and if appropriate, we can also visit your child at nursery or school, or visit the client at home or in their regular day setting. Once a detailed assessment is completed, a comprehensive report will be written. If required, face to face feedback sessions to discuss the assessment outcome will be offered. We are generally able to offer daytime and evening appointments.
